Lee Shirer trained at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and has owned Replacement Arts, Inc. since 1993. He is the inventor of the patented DupliCone, sold by SPS and Replacement Arts, Designs, LLC. He also is the inventor of the CastingCones and Shrinkee Sleeves for a Reusable Casting System for TransTibial amputees.
Lee has worked in prosthetics in Chicago since 1985. Replacement Arts is an active partner with Joliet Junior College Prosthetics Program, training young potential practitioners and technicians.
